Later this week, many of our advisor-clients are hosting Valentine’s Day luncheons for their widowed, divorced or never-married female clients. Some include small gifts of flowers and/or chocolates. Others have some type of entertainment or an interesting (non-financial) speaker.
One advisor will do the cooking (with a little help from Costco!). She plans to bring in fresh flowers (also from Costco) along with an expert in flower arranging to help her guests put together an attractive arrangement to take home.
A key component of this type of event is encouraging attendees to bring a guest, giving the advisors an opportunity to meet friends and family members.
It’s not too late!
While you may not have time this year to organize a luncheon for a large group, why not call just a few of your widowed clients and invite them to lunch, along with a friend?
Or give them a call or send a note. What to say? How about something like this from the letters library on Pathfinder Advisor?
Just a quick note to offer our very best wishes to you on this Valentine’s Day.
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to know you and serve as your financial advisors.
Thank you for the trust you place in us every day.
Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us!
