Since co-founding Pathfinder in 2009, I have focused on helping financial planners and advisors define a comprehensive and consistent client experience and then market that experience in clear, client-friendly language. I am committed to helping our clients respond with confidence to that key question, “How are you different?”
I also guide our clients in areas such as business planning & implementation; team development; and business model transitions. Active with the Financial Planning Association, we serve in their Coaches Corner for Marketing Messaging and Strategies.
Having begun my career as a planning-focused financial advisor with Dean Witter in St. Louis for 14 years, I served as a branch or complex manager at Prudential Securities for 12 years. After PSI’s merger with Wachovia Securities, I became director of FA Best Practices, before joining Loring Ward, a TAMP serving independent advisors and planners, where I was managing director of the Practice Consulting Group.
My background includes a B.A. in Education from The University of Akron and M.A. in Biblical Studies from Covenant Seminary. I have been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant since 1987 and completed requirements for the Certified Kingdom Advisor® certification in 2017.
Active in the East Tennessee chapter of the Financial Planning Association and my church, I also volunteer as a regional finance specialist for Delta Gamma Fraternity, advising 19 chapters in 6 states.
My husband and I live in Knoxville near our son, daughter-in-law and two very special grandchildren.
With a background in marketing and business analytics, together with my experience as a financial advisor, I help a broad array of clients, from relatively new advisors to experienced planners, as well as consulting relationships with various financial services firms.

In addition to my individual clients, I serve as the lead coach for a group coaching program for one of the major investment firms and manage our Pathfinder Advisor Resource Center. Active with the Financial Planning Association, we serve in their Coaches Corner practice managing program for Marketing Messaging and Strategies.
My career in financial services began at Experian, the global information and analytics company, where I spent over ten years, primarily as a senior strategy consultant, helping major financial institutions manage their credit risk policies using credit scores and strategies. I also developed a data quality consulting practice to assist companies in auditing their data assets.
Based in part on my desire to help people build wealth rather than debt, I joined Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo Advisors. There I was a member of a successful, multi-advisor team, helping them streamline their business and create a more comprehensive, consistent client experience, ultimately leading to my interest in coaching other advisors to build better businesses.
Having earned my B.S. in Economics with a concentration in marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, I am a Registered Corporate Coach with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches.
My wife and I live in Knoxville, Tennessee with our two children. When I can find the time, I enjoy photography and playing drums and percussion.

Bringing a wealth of organizational and operational knowledge as well as 22 years of industry experience to our team, I joined Pathfinder in September 2016 and manage the marketing and social media for our business.
Before retiring from Morgan Stanley, I was the registered marketing director for a top, multi-advisor team in their downtown San Diego branch. My ability to recognize client operational needs before problems arose and troubleshoot efficient solutions resulted in the superior level of service our clients came to expect and led to my leadership role on the team and at the firm.
I live in beautiful San Diego with my husband Wes, and enjoy our children, our wonderful grandchildren and our many dogs!
